Dear Friends and Colleagues,
after the celebrations for the Chinese Spring Festival and the Shigatse Losar have ended, the Tibetan New Year of the Lhasa area is approaching. With my best wishes for a wonderful and peaceful Water-Dragon Year, comes here the second update for 2012. It features new publications from dPal brtsegs in two series (a new series called Byang chub ljon bzang and further titles in the mKhyen brtse’i ’od snag series), new collections mainly from the Ser gtsug nang bstan dpe rnying ’tshol bsdu phyogs sgrig khang in the series Gangs can khyad nor dpe tshogs, and further miscellaneous titles. Unfortunately, I still have no news about a probably publication date for the bKa’ gdams gsung ’bum phyogs sgrig thengs bzhi pa.

1. New Series: Byang chub ljon bzang
This new series is published as large volume (A4 size) hard cover books in western style book format, each volume containing about 800 pp. or more. The first three titles in the series will be published in the next 3–4 weeks. I do yet have to receive the complete references to each work, but have so far provided only the basic information.
